A newly established company operating in Greece with Head Offices located in Athens. Its main activities include agricultural supplies with a PanHellenic scope of operation.
The company is looking for 9 job holders, each per area of responsibility as described in the table below, with the position title: Agronomist – Sales Rep.
ASR1: Evros, Rodopi, Xanthi, Drama, Kavala.
ASR2: Thessaloniki, Chalkidiki, Imatheia, Pieria, Kilkis.
ASR3: Florina, Kilkis, Kastoria, Pella, Grevena.
ASR4: Larissa, Trikala, Magnesia, Karditsa.
ASR5: Fthiotida, Viotia, Evia, Fokida.
ASR6: Argolida, Korinthia,Lakonia, Arkadia.
ASR7: Achaia, Ileia, Messinia, Aitoloakarnania.
ASR8: Preveza, Arta, Thesprotia, Ioannina, Kozani.
ASR9: Lasithi, Iraklion, Rethymno, Chania, Dodekanisa.
The job holder will report directly to the representative Area Sales Manager. The job location is any of the above areas of responsibility per reference code.
Key accountabilities & responsibilities:
- Develop and achieve the agreed sales targets in the area of responsibility in alignment with the corporate Sales & Marketing strategy.
- Implement successfully specific projects and targets on products by improving the Company’s (Co.’s) market share on targeted crops in the area.
- Contribute to the Co.’s working capital performance and the forecasting system in the area of responsibility and collect revenues on a timely basis and according to the credit arrangements.
- Liaise positively with the Marketing and other functions to develop appropriate sales network and farmer segmentation.
- Ensure the transfer of knowledge of the Co.’s knowhow on services & products to dealers and farmers.
- Understand the key values chains and react accordingly to deliver annual targets and goals.
- Make ad hoc market surveys through dealers and farmers and map possible market trends and future developments.

Skills & competencies:
- Holder of a University / TEI degree in Agriculture / Agronomy.
- Professional experience (max. 3 years) in a relative position and sector (agricultural supplies) desirable.
- Mobility and availability for frequent corporate travelling.
- Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork, fast learning ability, achievement of sales targets and result-orientation.
- High degree of confidentiality, integrity, accountability, initiative and autonomy.
- Excellent PC skills (MS Office).
- Fluency in the English & Greek languages.
- Military service fulfilled (for male applicants).
