Position: Crop forecasting and Agro-meteorology at European levelInstitute for Environment and Sustainability (Ispra, Italy)
The Agri4cast Action runs operationally a Crop Yield Forecastin System, including the Crop Growth Monitoring System (CGMS), in order to provide timely crop production forecasts at European level.
Investigation is ongoing to enlarge the systems towards other main crop production areas outside Europe.
