Company Description:

Andromeda Group is a rapidly expanding aquaculture company with production in the Mediterranean and commercial activities in Europe.

Job Description:

The role aims to constantly upgrade the manual that should be implemented in fish farms operations, securing an excellent quality and cost efficient context across the Group.

The successful candidate will report to the Group Head of Hatcheries & Farms.
Principle responsibilities will include the following:
Identifies, evaluates, tests and transfers new technologies and worldwide best practices into Group farms.
Initiates and implements preventive and reactive strategy to optimize animal welfare in farms.
Identifies and selects appropriate food quality and establishes effective feeding methodology across the Group.
Designs and leads a Research & Development program aiming to leverage opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
Designs, implements and follows up all technical training strategy in farms operations.

Desired Skills & Experience:

University degree in biology, agronomy, veterinary or other relevant science. Postgraduate studies desirable.
“Out-of-the box” thinking and a “restless” spirit approach.
Strong analytical thinking, team-working orientation, leadership skills, as well as cross-cultural communication effectiveness.
Strong scientific background, international community networking and should be able to be based in the Mediterranean region.
Fluency in English and Spanish.

Also, should have minimum ten years of experience in aquaculture industry, out of which five in a managerial position.
