Ο Όμιλος "Andromeda Group", με έδρα την Πάτρα, ζητεί πτυχιούχο Ιχθυοπαθολόγο (Fish Pathologist).
Job Description:
The jobholder will report to the General Manager Hatcheries and Farms and his/her main accountabilities will involve the following:
- Implements and maintains a fish health management program.
- Maintains regular and detailed records of the fish farms, including notes on stocking densities, feeding, days of treatment and regular mortality rates.
- Takes all preventive measures in case of a disease outbreak, in order to curb the spread of the outbreak, and informs the Management accordingly.
- Supervises and/or performs investigations to diagnose and treat both infectious and non-infectious diseases of fish and investigates fish disease problems.
- Controls all treatments and medicines kept in the fish farms.
- Supervises the annual fish health inspection of all fish stocks.
- Maintains experimental laboratory strains of specific disease resistant fish; supervises applied research projects, treatment or immunization techniques and nutritional anomalies.
- A degree in fish pathology
- At least two years of full-time professional experience as a fish pathologist
- Fluency in English
- Advanced PC skills
